Hello

I'm Jaime Bellver — an AI researcher and engineer working on agentic systems that ship to production. I move between training models, designing tools, and shaping the interfaces that make capable agents feel usable. Based in Madrid; working on AI since 2022.

PhD candidate (final stretch) in Electronic Engineering, focused on multimodal LLMs, audio and agentic systems. I combine technical leadership on large research projects with independent consulting. New writing lands roughly every couple of weeks; the newsletter is the easiest way to catch it.

Now

Independent AI consultant since October 2025. Technical lead on the EU ASTOUND project at UPM, building a full-stack multimodal system for Artificial Awareness. Currently shipping OpenSpain and cowboy, and finishing a long essay on the texture of agentic software. Somewhere with a kitchen table that gets afternoon light.
