Data controller
The controller of your data is Jaime Bellver (Madrid, Spain). You can get in touch at any time at jbellversoler@gmail.com.
What data we process and why
Newsletter. If you subscribe, we process your email address for the sole purpose of notifying you when a new article is published. No profiling is done and your email is never sold or shared for marketing.
Technical browsing data. The hosting provider logs minimal technical data (such as IP address and server requests) to deliver the service and keep it secure. It is not used to identify you or for advertising.
Legal basis
The legal basis for processing your email for the newsletter is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given explicitly when you tick the acceptance box and confirm your subscription through the link sent to you by email (double opt-in). You may withdraw it at any time.
Processing of technical data relies on the legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working correctly (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Recipients and processors
Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) is the provider that handles email delivery and the subscriber list, acting as a data processor.
Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) provides hosting and content delivery.
Both providers may involve an international data transfer to the USA, covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Data is not shared with any other third party except where legally required.
Retention
We keep your email for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your address is deleted or marked as unsubscribed from the list. Unconfirmed subscriptions are automatically deleted after 24 hours.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to jbellversoler@gmail.com.
The quickest way to leave the newsletter is the unsubscribe link included in every email.
If you believe your data is not handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, AEPD, or your local supervisory authority.
Cookies and local storage
This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies — only strictly necessary local storage. See the Cookie Policy for details.
